- We are unable to take responsibility for our students before or after their scheduled classes and it is the responsibility of the parent to ensure their child is picked up and dropped off on time. - TDC takes no responsibility for any stolen or misplaced property on the studio premises and we encourage our families to avoid bringing valuable items into the studio where possible.
- In the rare case of a parent or student showing disrespect or defamation to any parent, staff member or student, a meeting will be called immediately and dismissal may be considered at the discretion of the Director. Physical, mental, emotional or cyber bullying by parents, staff or students will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from the studio
Class Placement Policy
- All class placements are done by teachers and in the best interest of the student. Promotion is determined by virtue of abilities, we will place your child according to:
- dance ability - technical & emotional
- previous training
- age, maturity & social abilities
- It is in the best interest for your child to be placed among other dancers with the same abilities and goals. Therefore all class placements will be assessed and potentially altered during the month of September. For the 2019-20 season, all placements will be finalized by September 27, 2019. Classes are evaluated at the end of each season and are structured the following season as the director sees fit.
- At registration time we will present you with tentative class times. If there is a change in times you will be informed of them.
- Minimum class size is 4 students per class. If enrolment drops below the minimum before December 1, 2019, every attempt will be made to combine classes of a similar level rather than cancelling the class.
- TDC management reserves the right to change teachers or timetabling when necessary at any time throughout the year.
